Concert Choir

Any student can enroll to join the Concert Choir at Lodi High School. In this ensemble, students learn the techniques of singing, from the proper breath to tone production and intonation. The skills needed for music literacy, from reading the music to translating it to the performing of this music are all taught in this class. The students rehearse all together in their own class every day leading up to two concerts throughout the year. Students who are interested in joining the Honors Choir are required to have taken at least one year of the Concert Choir course and may join the Honors Choir after an audition process.

Concert Choir has two main performances this year: the PTA Holiday Concert on December 3rd, 2024, and the Choral Spring Concert on May 22nd, 2025. This year, only the Holiday Concert will be taking place in Lodi High School's auditorium. The Spring Concert will be held in the Auditorium at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. Both concerts are at 7 pm and are free of charge so come out to support the students and arts in our schools.
