Chamber Choir

The Chamber Choir is an honors course that can be taken when the student has participated in at least one year of Concert Choir* and have been selected by the teacher after an audition process. This course goes over more advanced singing techniques and the skills required to understand and make music. This ensemble not only partakes in the two concerts with the Concert Choir each year, but also get the privilege to travel and participate in extra performances of their own. Some of those performances include a District Tour where the choir performs for the students of Lodi's schools, a performance at the Lodi Senior Center where the students get to share their music with their community, and the Bergen County Teen Arts festival where they are able to perform and receive critique for their work as well as listen to other groups and see art exhibits from school's all across Bergen County. 

The two main concerts the Honors Choir will be performing in are the PTA Holiday Concert on December 3rd, 2024 and the Choral Spring Concert on May 22rd, 2025. This year, only the Holiday Concert will be taking place in Lodi High School's auditorium. The Spring Concert will be held in the Auditorium at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. Both concerts are at 7 pm and are free of charge so come out to support the students and arts in our schools.
