Jazz Ensemble

This is an advanced award-winning ensemble comprised of select musicians.  The instrumentation is a standard swing orchestra of the 1940s: Trumpets 1-4, Trombone 1-4, Saxophone (2 Alto, 2 Tenor, and 1 Bari), and Rhythm (set, bass, piano, guitar, and vibes).  The ensemble performs at numerous venues throughout the school year.  Some of our previous performances included Nashville - Tennessee, Bergen County Teacher Recognition Dinner, Bergen County Teen Arts, and JAM tour to promote Jazz education in our schools.  The Jazz Ensemble has also participated in the Essential Ellington challenge sponsored by Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The Annual Beefsteak fundraiser for Senior scholarships will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. The evening's entertainment will be provided by the Lodi Jazz Ensemble with professional guest artists.
