Instrumental Music

Mr. Porter has a B.S. in Music Education and a B.A. in Music with a concentration in Saxophone Performance from Lebanon Valley College.

The 2024-2025 school year is Mr. Porter's sixth year as a teacher. He is the conductor for all  curricular and extra-curricular instrumental ensembles at Lodi High School: Concert Band, Honors Band, Instrumental Lessons, Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Pit Orchestra. 

Mr. Porter is a professional woodwind player, having played in a multitude of traveling and community based ensembles. He has worked as a guest conductor during middle school band festivals as well as middle school choral festivals in central Pennsylvania. Mr. Porter is also the director of the advance band and jazz band for the Summer Music Program that is hosted by the recreation department of Lodi.

As a graduate of the Lodi School District, Mr. Porter is honored to be able to give back to the community that raised him to be the person he is today. He will work to ensure that he does everything in his power to make, not only his own students, but every student at Lodi High School successful.
