Physical Education & Health

The goals and objectives for physical education and health are to allow student to enhance not only their physical health but their mental health through interdisciplinary lessons that allow students to explore athletics, but wellness, meditation, and other mindful tools. 

  • Phys Ed  - Soccer, Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, Flag Football, Volleyball, Speedball, Handball, Badminton, Pickleball, Softball, Wiffle Ball, Kickball. 

  • Health 9 - Nutrition, Disease Prevention, Human Development, Mental Health, Substance Abuse

  • Health 10/Drivers Education- License System, Driver Responsibility, Privileges and Penalties, Substance Abuse, Sharing the Road, Accident Prevention, Mental Health 

  • Health 11- Nutrition, Human Sexuality, Social & Emotional Health, Alcohol & Drug Abuse

  • Health 12- Family Life, Diseases & Health Condition, Alcohol & Drug Abuse, First Aid & CPR, Social & Emotional Health 


 

Driver Education

Drivers Education is a course taught in 10th grade in placement of a Health class, allowing students to learn all the proper and necessary rules of engagement on the road. Through this course students are prepared with the use of the drivers education manual and are offered assessments to prepare them for the issued test at the end of the course.
